Ok, unless you have been living under a huge rock and I mean HUGE. You no doubt have already picked up your copy of Star Wars The Force Awakens, and if you haven’t you better get out there and pick one up today.
That has got to be one of the greatest movies out there right now and has made some serious cash because of the tremendous amount of success it had in theaters. You may not be into buying dvd’s or Blu-rays anymore because of the digital world that we live in so I wanted to tell you about some options or lack there of for this brand new movie out today.
Aside from having the physical copies of Star Wars The Force Awakens you can buy you can also purchase a digital copy of the movie from iTunes and you will end up paying full price for it unless you go and buy your own copy which also comes with a digital copy. So for those that love both worlds there you have it, and then for those that love the digital copy only, again go and get it already.
I find myself in that world where I need both options because I love to own a copy that I can hold and I also want the convenience of the digital copy. There are some of you that don’t care to actually own the copy and you end up going to Redbox or maybe rent it from iTunes…wait I don’t think you can rent it from iTunes, so really I think your only options is Redbox and I say to you, good luck finding a copy. Most people now just like to rent movies instead of owning them, maybe because they would like to see it once and not pile up a movie collection like I have, in their own homes.
What if I told you can rent a digital copy of Star Wars The Force Awaken for $1, one night $1. Yes, it is true, you can and if there are things you rather not see in the movie, you can edit those out before watching the movie. I found a new movie streaming service called VidAngel that will let you rent it for one night for $1. I love using these guys and have watched not only movies but TV Shows and even those that I didn’t before because I didn’t want to see some of the content that the show offered but the story of the show seemed great.
